Highland Riding Camps

About our camps: Highland Riding excels in combining fun and learning. We have a strong emphasis on safety and teach campers riding and horsemanship while giving them the opportunity to bond with other campers, their Instructors and our horses. Each camper will ride daily with their group (matched by skill and age). Riding includes structured lessons, games, bareback and other fun mounted activities. Campers learn how to groom and tack up their horse and the importance of getting their own horse ready. They also learn about horse breeds, colors, styles of riding, horse health, as well as parts of the horse and tack. We play games and have varied crafts throughout the duration of camp. We keep them very busy!

On the last day, campers will participate in a riding exhibition for their family and friends. Exhibition day will conclude with an awards ceremony and pictures. Highland Riding offers a Holiday Camp, Spring Break Camp and three Summer Camps each year.
